Description
The Brewhouse is a house that dates from the late 15th century, with alterations made in the 17th, 18th, and 20th centuries. It features a combination of timber framing with brick infill and sections built entirely of brick. The roof is gabled and covered with old tiles. The building has a double-depth plan, with the framed section comprising three bays and a gabled crosswing on the northeast side. It stands two storeys tall and has two ridge chimneys.
The south front displays irregular window arrangements from the 20th century, including three-light leaded casements. In the center, there is a half-glazed garden door, and to the right, a cant bay features sash windows with glazing bars and a flat roof. The gable on the right side has similar leaded casements, with three-light windows on the first floor and four-light windows on the ground floor, both featuring cambered arches.
