Description

Old Farmhouse is a late 16th-century farmhouse that has been altered in the late 17th century and the 20th century. It features a combination of painted brick and timber framing with painted brick infill, topped by an old tile gabled roof. The building is arranged in an L-plan and likely originally had two framed bays that jetted out on the south gable, with extensions added later. It stands two storeys high and has one chimney on the ridge and another on the left gable facing the road. The windows are mostly 20th-century casements with leaded lights, and there is a plain entrance door on the left side in the extension. Inside, some of the timber framing is exposed.
