Description

This is an early 18th-century barn, now used for domestic storage. It is located about 50 metres north of Bath Road, near Hurley. The barn is constructed of brick, with some chalk clunch visible internally, and has an old tile half-hipped roof. It follows a rectangular plan of four bays, featuring a gabled midstrey (central bay) on the west side, partly clad in weatherboarding. Ventilation slots are present in the walls, although some have been blocked.

Inside, the barn retains a queen post roof with two sets of butt purlins and large principal rafters. Windbraces are visible in the bay containing the midstrey.
