Description

This is a 17th-century dwarf brick wall that is contemporary with the Smythes Almshouses, located at numbers 79 to 85 on Bridge Road. The wall features a stone coping and includes a control gateway. At the right-hand end, there is a short section of the wall that stands six feet high, with a short return at right angles.
