Description
White Place Farmhouse is a 16th-century timber-frame farmhouse, now disused. It has daub infill between the timbers and an old tile gabled roof. The building is rectangular, comprising four framed bays, with an adjoining barn to the east that is listed separately. A 19th-century extension was added to the south. The farmhouse has two storeys, with a 19th-century chimney near the ridge on the west end. The north front features two three-light and one two-light derelict leaded casement windows. Inside, the farmhouse has a Queen strut roof with clasped purlins, and an inserted floor with large principal beams.
