Description
Milestone located opposite The Tote Building to Ascot Racecourse, dating from the late 18th century. It is made of stone and has a square shape with a chamfered top, set diagonally. The milestone features incised Roman lettering; on the east face, it reads "READING 14 MILES," and on the west face, it reads "LONDON 25 MILES."
