Description

This is a milestone located in front of the Red Lion Inn, near the left corner. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of stone, painted white. The milestone has a square shape with a pyramidal top. The inscription on the east side reads "TO / READING / 11," while the inscription on the west side reads "TO / LONDON / 28."
