Description

This milestone, located approximately 50 meters east of the junction with Swinley Road on London Road, dates back to around 1760. It is made of stone and features a square shape with a pyramidal top. The north face of the milestone is inscribed with the distances: "LONDON / 26 / MILES / READING / 13 / MILES."
