Description

Telford Cottage is probably a late 16th-century byre and outhouse, altered in the 20th century. It is a timber-frame building with painted brick infill and a thatched roof. The long, rectangular plan originally comprised four framed bays, with a curved end on the left side and a later brick return on the south east. The cottage is one storey high with an attic. It features a centre chimney and a gable chimney on the south east end. Five casement windows with glazing bars are present, along with a plain entrance door. A dormer with a two-light casement featuring glazing bars sits on the curved end.
