Description

The bridge over the River Kennet, built in 1827, is constructed of stone ashlar and features five arches. It has a plain parapet with chamfered capping and a panel above the center arch. The bridge includes square end piers, a flat band at road level, and channelled voussoirs with extended keystones that spring off cutwaters.
