Description
This is a 17th-century terraced cottage located on the east side of Hungerford, Oxford Street, Eddington. The building is timber-framed with brick infill, and has a thatched roof. It is one and a half storeys high, with a central chimney and an irregular elevation. The timber framing is plain and square, featuring a high sole plate set upon a brick plinth. The cottage has 20th-century casement windows and a boarded door. Two square-headed dormers have been cut into the thatch. Inside, the ground floor to the left features chamfered spine beams with run-out stops, and a large 17th-century chimney.
