Description
Buckland House is a town house built in the early 19th century, marked by a datestone reading "ISS 1835" at the second floor level. The house features a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves and is constructed from brick, specifically grey brick with red rubbed voussoirs used for the arches. There is a painted band at the first floor. The building stands three storeys tall. On the ground floor, there is one vertical sliding sash window with glazing bars set in reveals to the left, and a door with a semicircular radiating fanlight to the right. The upper floors have two vertical sliding sash windows, with those on the first floor placed in shallow semicircular arched recesses.
