Description
No. 11 Bridge Street is a house that now serves as both a residence and a shop. It dates from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th and 19th centuries. The building features a tiled roof with one gabled dormer on the right side. It has a timber frame with brick infill and is covered in painted render on the entire street-facing elevation. The structure is T-shaped, comprising 2½ bays of timber framing that runs at right angles to the street. It stands two storeys tall with an attic, and has two wide glazing bar sash windows above a 19th-century shop front that includes two square bay windows and a central door, all beneath a timber fascia and cornice. There is also a separate house door to the left.
