Description
No. 13 Bridge Street is a house, now serving as both a house and a shop, dating from the 18th century. It features a tiled roof with a central gabled dormer and a brick dentil course along the eaves. The walls are made of red brick, and the building is two storeys high with an attic. The front includes one blank panel and two glazing bar sash windows with exposed frames and cambered heads, with the right window being narrower. On the ground floor, there is a central canted bay with glazing bar sashes and panelled shutters, alongside a six-panel door to the right that has a rectangular fanlight above it, framed by a doorcase with engaged columns and an open pediment. There is a 19th-century extension at the rear that faces Canal Walk, which is of no special interest.
