Description

The Old Malthouse is a house that has been converted into a house and shop. It dates from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century. The building features a tiled roof with two small hipped dormers and has rendered walls with a moulded eaves cornice. It is two storeys high with an attic. The upper floor has two glazing bar sash windows with exposed frames and a central blank space. On the ground floor, there are two similar sash windows to the left and one to the right of a central door. This door is topped by a rectangular fanlight with decorative glazing and is framed by a plain moulded architrave and a simple gabled hood supported by cut brackets.
