Description

The pedestrian bridge and porches at Number 131, located on the east side of Hungerford High Street, date from the early to mid-19th century. Constructed from cast iron, the bridge and porches feature an open work design in a light Gothic style, characterized by a delicate balustrade, a gate, and an arched overthrow at the canal bridge end. Access to the bridge is provided by four stone steps. This structure connects the first floor door of Number 131 with the canal bridge.
