Description

No. 2 High Street is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the late 18th century. It features a tiled roof and a chimney on the right side. The building is constructed of painted brick and has a dentil course along the eaves. It stands two storeys high and includes one glazing bar sash window in an exposed frame. To the left of the window, there is a door with a 20th-century flat hood supported by cut brackets, along with reeded pilasters and panelled reveals. Adjacent to the door is a glazing bar bow window with a plain fascia and a simple moulded cornice. This property is part of a group with Nos. 3 and 4.
