Description
No. 12 on Bridge Street is an 18th-century house that now serves as both a residence and a shop. It features a tiled roof with one gabled dormer and a brick dentil course along the eaves. The building has a T-plan layout, with a rear wing that is positioned at right angles to the road. It stands two storeys tall with an attic. The front has three unevenly spaced glazing bar sash windows with exposed frames and cambered heads, with the central window being wider than the others. On the ground floor, to the left, there is a six-panel door beneath a rectangular fanlight, set within a doorcase that has engaged columns and an open pediment. In the centre, there is a canted bay with glazing bar sashes, and to the right, there is a plain door with a cambered head.
