Description
Schoolhouse built in 1891-1892 by Alfred Waterhouse. It is constructed of red brick with Bath stone dressings and features herringbone brickwork in the tympana of alternating brick and tile relieving arches above the windows. The building has a tiled roof, with the section to the right having a lower pitch. It has coped parapeted gable ends with footstones, and a parapet above the door, which is off-centre to the right. There is an end stack to the left and a stack behind the ridge that is off-centre to the right. To the left, there is a parapeted gabled semi-dormer with a three-light mullioned window. The building is one and a half storeys tall and has two ground floor six-light mullioned and transomed windows flanking a doorway that is off-centre to the right, which has a half-glazed door with a stone surround.
