Description
Butlers Isaacs is a house located on Yattendon Church Lane, dating from the 17th century with late 19th century additions. The building features a timber frame with a white painted brick ground floor and plaster panels on the first floor. It has an old tile roof with large stacks at both ends, positioned in front of the ridge. The original structure consists of two framed bays, with two three-light casements on the first floor, one of which is leaded, and two three-light casements on the ground floor flanking a central arrangement of two-light and one-light casements.
To the left, there is a late 19th century addition made of white painted brick, featuring tile roofs and two stacks. This section is two storeys high, with a one-storey gabled projection to the north that has a blocked gabled porch. To the right, another late 19th century addition, also in white painted brick, has a half hipped tile roof and is one storey tall, containing one and three-light casements. Entrances are located in the gable end to the left and at the rear to the right.
