Description
The garden house, built in the 19th century, is located approximately 14 metres northeast of Hamstead Lodge. It features a timber frame with rustic timber cladding and a felt shingled roof. The building has an octagonal plan with a pointed roof topped by a weathervane, and the roof extends outward to create a verandah around the structure. A chimney is situated on the north face of the roof. The entrance door is set within a pointed arched opening, flanked by pointed arched side openings on one side of the octagon, with a similar feature on the opposite side. Each face of the octagon has one pointed arched window.
