Description

This is a late 18th-century house, originally one dwelling, but now divided into two separate occupancies. The front has a symmetrical design with three windows. The roof is hipped and covered with brown tiles, with large brick stacks. The exterior is multi-coloured stock brick with rusticated block quoins and a brick dentil eaves cornice. Recessed sash windows with glazing bars are set within gauged brick arches. The bays on the first floor have splayed sash windows with dentil cornices and glazing bars. Modern shop fronts now occupy the ground floor. An arcade entrance, originally open, was filled in above the first floor in the late 19th century, after 1849, with a corresponding extension to the roof. A stuccoed rear facade exists.
