Description

No. 89 Shaw Road is an early 19th-century building, dating from before 1837, that was formerly the Wheatsheaf Inn. It is two storeys tall and features a double front with two windows. The roof is hipped and covered with tiles. The building is constructed of grey and red brick, with a painted front and a dentil brick eaves cornice. The windows are architraved sash windows with glazing bars, and there is a splayed bay window on the ground floor. The entrance has a bracketed hood and a panelled door.
