Description

No 112 on Shaw Road is an early 19th-century building, constructed between 1817 and 1837, and was formerly known as the Old Dog Inn. It is a two-storey, double-fronted structure featuring four windows. The building has a tiled roof and is made of brick, with a small central pediment that includes a gauged red brick segmental relieving arch. The windows are recessed casements with glazing bars and have red brick pedimental relieving arches above them. The entrance is accentuated by a gabled hood, and there is a modern shop window at the south end. This building is included for its group value with other nearby structures.
