Description

Shaw Bridge House is a building that underwent remodelling in the 18th century, originally being an earlier house. It has two storeys and attics, featuring a two-window front at the first floor level. The structure is timber framed with a gabled front, finished in stucco, and has a tile-hung gable on the south side. The roof is tiled with a rendered stack. The first floor has slightly recessed sash windows, which include architraves and glazing bars. The ground floor windows have been altered, and the former doorway at the south end has been replaced by windows. There is a modern entrance on the north return, which features an architraved doorway, a half-glazed door, and a gabled porch.
