Description
No. 6 New Street is a mid-19th century building made of painted red brick. It stands three storeys tall and features three bays, with a central semi-elliptical carriage arch on the ground floor. The building has a three-window range of sash windows with glazing bars, although one window has been replaced by a modern casement. The roof is clad in slate and has a ridged design that runs from north to south. There are two chimney stacks at either end of the building. Above the archway, there is a wrought iron bracket that was used for the former inn sign when it operated as The King William IV Public House.
