Description

The tomb located to the north-west of Iron Gates commemorates M A Woolmer, M E Eve, and Mary Smith. This 19th-century stone monument features a triangular plan with rounded angles. It has a hollow pyramidal top adorned with a finial. The base is scroll moulded and consists of a torus, scotia, and another torus. An inscription on the tomb reads, "hurried into eternity by the awful fire which visited his town - 1808."
