Description

12 Cottage Place is an early 18th century building designed in an L-shape. It is timber framed, partly rendered, and features black weatherboarding at the rear. The north to south range has a central front door flanked by Ionic timber columns and a mutilated entablature. The south-facing range consists of five windows above three windows, all featuring small pane sashes, with most having mullions and margin sashes. There is also a door with a flat hooded case. The roof is hipped and ridged, covered with peg tiles, and has eaves. Three brick chimney stacks are present. Inside, the ground storey is supported by two turned posts that hold up the first floor.
