Description
Tudor Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with 20th-century alterations and extensions. It features a timber frame with brick infill and brick extensions, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building has a long rectangular plan, with the original 17th-century structure in the center flanked by extensions, and a catslide roof at the rear. The central block is one and a half storeys high, while the extension is a single storey. On the east side, there are two eyebrow dormers, and ridge stacks are located at each end of the central block. The west elevation includes a three-light casement window in the left-hand extension, two two-light casements in the center, and two three-light casements with cambered heads in the right-hand extension. The entrance door is situated under a plain gabled hood at the junction between the central block and the right-hand extension.
