Description

This mid-19th century milepost is located on the north-west side of Bath Road in Ufton Nervet. It is made of white painted cast iron and features black lettering. The milepost has a triangular section with a chamfered top. It is inscribed with distances: "READING 7" to the west and "NEWBURY 10" to the east.
