Description
Lamellion Cottage and Lasalle Cottage is a house that has been converted into two cottages. It dates from the late 16th century, with a 19th-century extension and 20th-century alterations. Originally, it had a lobby entry plan with a cross wing to the west and an outshot to the north. The division between the cottages now follows the line of the chimney and the 19th-century extension to the east. The building is 1½ storeys high, featuring a gable on the cross wing and one eaves gable on each bay flanking the chimney to the south, along with three eaves gables on a catslide roof to the north. It has a central ridge chimney and end chimneys. On the south elevation, all the windows are 20th-century casements. The cross wing on the left has a central door with flanking casements, with one three-light casement in each bay next to the main chimney. The right side has one door and casement in the 19th-century wing, along with one two-light casement in each gable.
