Description
An 18th-century barn stands to the south east of Elm Farm House. The barn is constructed of brick with a hipped plain tile roof. It is a three-bay structure with aisles on all sides and central opposed entrances, with a hipped roof over the entrances. Inside, the barn features queen post roof trusses with clasped purlins. There are clear carpenters’ marks and several early to mid-18th century dates carved on the posts near the entrances.
