Description

The Lowsley Tomb, located approximately 3 meters south of the south wall of the Church of St. Mary, is a family tomb dating from the late 19th century. It is made of cast iron and features a stepped pyramid design with seven stages, topped by a spirelet and adorned with ball finials at each corner. The tomb is enclosed by an iron railed balustrade. It is considered unique in Berkshire and possibly the only one of its kind in the country.
