Description

These gates and gatepiers, located approximately 15 metres to the north of Kennet Orley, were designed in 1909 by Sir Mervyn Macartney. They feature two tall rusticated red brick piers topped with stone urn finials. The gates are made of wrought iron, with ball finials on the standards, high dog rails, and spearhead railings. Each gate has two pairs of railings that include corkscrew twists.
