Description

The Old Bakery is an 18th-century house and shop situated on the south side of Bath Road, Woolhampton. The building is constructed of red brick with an old tile roof, featuring an end stack to the right and a central ridge stack. It has two storeys and four bays, with glazing bar sashes, each having exposed wooden boxes and segmental heads. A large 18th-century shop window is located on the left side, with ten lights and a wooden surround. The second bay from the left contains a six-panelled door, topped with a rectangular fanlight and a segmental pediment. The door has a plain surround, and a flat hood supported by wrought iron brackets projects above.
