Description

Brook Lawn is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of red brick with a brick plinth and a projecting brick band. The eaves are formed by a dentil brick cornice, above which is an old tile roof, hipped to the right side with two chimney stacks behind. The house is two storeys high and five bays wide, featuring 19th-century casement windows with gauged heads. The central entrance has a six-panelled door framed by a plain architrave, narrow fluted pilasters with acanthus capitals, and brackets supporting a small, projecting hood.
