Description

Carter's Cottage is an 18th-century house located on the north-east side of New Street, Lambourn. It is built of sarsen rubble with brick dressings, and the front and flank walls are stuccoed. The roof is tiled, featuring flanking chimneys. The front has two casement windows with leaded lights in iron frames within timber sub-frames, and a central blade. A modern casement window has been added to the left side of the first floor. A central door provides access to the interior.
