Description

Paddock House is a late 18th-century house located on the south-west side of New Street, Lambourn, near Newbury. The house is constructed of brick with a rendered plinth and a vitreous band at the first floor level. It has an old tile roof, hipped to the left. The front elevation features two vertical sliding sash windows with glazing bars, and a central six-panelled door. This door is set within a doorcase of fluted pilasters with a planted moulding and a rounded head, finished with a dentil and moulded cornice. To the right of the original house is a single-window extension, with a near-flush frame and a three-panelled door located in the corner.
