Description
Drummond House is a two-storey building constructed in 1867, designed in the Italianate classical style. It reflects the mid-Victorian tradition of the London and South Western Railway, influenced by architect Tite. The building is made of red brick and features a hipped slate roof with a wide bracket eaves cornice. It has six bays, with the two end bays on the right-hand side projecting. The structure includes long and short quoins, a string course, and first-floor windows that are adorned with moulded architraves and cambered heads. Additionally, there is a plinth and a wooden canopy over the two central windows and doorcase.
