Description

Nos. 88 and 90 on French Street is a four-storey warehouse built in 1903 in the Art Nouveau style. It is constructed of red brick with stone dressings and features a parapet with a crow-stepped design. The building has three windows, with the fourth-floor windows flanked by stone columns. The second-floor windows are grouped in threes and have cambered heads. A panel between the first and second floors is dated 1903 and displays the initials M and W along with Art Nouveau floral and heart motifs. The ground floor features cambered arches, and there is a carriage archway on the left side, which includes curbing stones and an inserted doorcase with a pediment and ovolo moulding in the central archway.
