Description
This barn, located approximately 40 metres to the south-west of the Long Barn public house, dates from the late 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and red brick nogging, topped with a corrugated asbestos roof. The structure features four framed bays, with a gabled strey projecting to the east in the second bay from the south. Inside, there are queen post trusses supported by transverse and longitudinal bracing. This barn was originally part of Cippenham Court Farm, although a fifth bay to the south has since collapsed.
