Description
The Long Barn Public House is a farm building that has been converted into a public house and restaurant. It dates from the 17th century, with 18th-century additions. The structure is timber framed, with later red brick additions on the east and west sides, and features a hipped roof covered with old tiles. The building consists of four framed bays and stands two storeys high, with the first floor partially jettied to the north. On the north front, there are seven 20th-century windows on the first floor, with blocked doors located between the third and fourth, and the sixth and seventh windows from the left, as well as at the far right. There is a 20th-century lean-to on the right side. The main entrance is located on the south side. This barn was formerly part of Cippenham Court Farm.
