It features a timber frame with red brick nogging and red brick additions at the back. The roof is covered with old tiles, hipped to the left, and has a catslide over the outshot to the right. The building consists of two framed bays and a gabled cross wing to the right, showcasing an exposed queen post truss. It is two storeys high, with the left-hand block jettied on three sides, supported by a moulded bressumer. There are end stacks in front of and behind the right-hand outshot, a stack at the rear to the left, and an end stack for the addition at the rear. The first floor has a two-light casement window to the left and a small casement to the right, while the ground floor features a glazing bar sash to the left and a small three-light leaded window to the right. In the cross wing to the right, there is a two-light casement on the first floor, a ground floor leaded cross window, and a 20th-century glazed door to the left. The house is situated within a moated site.
