Description

The kitchen garden walls and gardener's cottage at Coley Park Farm date from the 18th century. The extensive walls are made of red brick, standing 11 feet tall, featuring English and other bonding patterns, with occasional blue headers. They have a plain soldier course at the top for capping and a plinth. The walls have been breached to the north-west and south-west.

In the south wall, there is a gardener's cottage, which has an early 19th-century front added to an older building. This two-storey structure is also made of red brick and includes a band above the ground floor and offset eaves courses. It has a slate roof with end chimneys. The cottage features three windows on the first floor, which are two-light leaded casements, and two ground floor windows with segmental heads, along with a glazing bar sash window to the right. The central entrance has a four-panel door with a three-pane overlight above it, and the gable ends are pedimented. The rear of the cottage shows older brickwork, and there is a washhouse to the west.
