Description
Seven Bridges House is an early 19th-century villa located on Bridge Street. It is a two-storey building constructed of brick, featuring a stucco string course between the ground and first floors, a stucco cornice, a parapet, and a hipped slate roof. The first floor has five windows, which are glazing bar sashes with moulded architraves, although these have been affected by poor double glazing. The ground floor has four windows and a central door with double panelled doors and a radiating fanlight above. A Greek Doric portico with fluted columns and pilasters supports a plain cornice, and the portico has a panelled soffit. The interior has been altered, but the enriched ceiling cornice has been preserved on the ground floor.
