Description

The Lodge is an early 19th-century house built of coursed rubble stone with a slate roof. It has three bays and two storeys. The front features a central six-panel door set within a fluted doorcase and topped by a cut bracket hood. Modern bay windows have been added on either side of the main entrance. The first floor has three sash windows; the outer bays have five panes each, and the window above the door has four panes. Bracketed eaves and stone coped gables sit on kneelers. A parallel rear range is constructed of brick, and a mid-19th century hipped roofed range extends to the northwest.
