Description
The monument commemorating the Battle of Waterloo is located in the Wilderness at Weston Park. Erected in 1815, it is made of stone and stands on a plinth. The monument features a lion lying down and looking back, positioned on a rectangular pedestal that has a moulded cornice and base. While most of the inscription is difficult to read, the date '1815' is clearly visible. This structure serves as a tribute to the historic battle.
