Description

Emperor Cottage is a house dating to the 17th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with a slate roof. The house has two and a half bays and two storeys, including dormers. A modern rustic porch sits in front of the entrance, which is located between the right-hand bays. The windows are paired casements, with those in the left-hand half bay smaller in size. A gabled dormer window with two lights is positioned in the middle bay. Stone coped gable ends are present, featuring kneelers. A stack is located between the right-hand bays and in front of the left-hand bay.
