Description

The memorial urn to 'Fop' is located in the Wilderness at Weston Park and dates from the 18th century. It is made of stone and stands on a plinth that features a moulded base and cornice. The urn itself is reeded and is inscribed with a verse by William Cowper, serving as an epitaph for Fop, a dog that belonged to Lady Throckmorton of Weston House.
