The School House, formerly known as the Former Schoolhouse, is a village school built in 1847. It is constructed of red brick with stone dressings and features flat quoins. The building has a tiled roof with stone gable copings and kneelers, along with two brick chimneys. It is a single-storey structure with a slightly projecting gable on the right-hand side. To the left, there are three bays that include a central doorway with a Tudor arch, set in a shallow gabled projection. Above the doorway is a recessed datestone and a stone bellcote. The left side has a four-light stone mullioned leaded casement window, while the right side has two 2-light lattice casement windows.
